SAVANT’s film Smallman was very well received at the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, one of the most important short film festivals in the world, where – at the marketplace –potential distributors, sales agents and broadcasters, were able to watch the film. Smallman tells the story of an obedient public servant of modest means, who taps into his imagination to create intricate toys and to-scale models from scratch, as narrated by his son Richard. The film was represented by the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival and APCAG (the association for the development of independent cinema in Guadeloupe).
